A family spokesperson said the dog has never been aggressive before and was a loving family pet, according to the CBS affiliate in Greensboro.
but, it was a loving well trained pet

Until the facts of the situation is known...there's not much to say...accept how tragic it is that such a beautiful child had to suffer this much!
