First things first, figure out if it is a modem or router specifically that you need.

Secondly, how many device are going to be plugged directly into the modem or router, and how many device would you like to use on wireless(WiFi)?

There are many modems that have the wireless option built in, and they are quite affordable. Let us know a little more information and we can direct you to the required materials and find you a great price on a router/modem.
