Correct that. Wiki says that is the plot to spitfire. The trailer sure didn't look like that at all.

Spitfire Grill is the wrong movie. Doesn't fit the OP's description at all. And it looks even worse than the first movie sounds

Actually, I think it won some awards. Doesn't make it a good movie though.
Spoiler alert... it was sappy and predictable- IMO.

There is a movie I can not remember the title of. It is about an older lady who owned a restaurant and put out fliers to give it away to a person who wrote the best essay as to why they should have it. In the end a young woman with a child won.
