So.

You want 2,000 folders for 2,000 individual files. One file per folder.

Do you want the folders to be the same name as the file?

You are talking about almost 2 Tb of data?! I would think there is a way, but I couldn't tell you where to start. Good luck.

Actually it's not p**n. The files I have are mostly over 1 gb and because they're in all bunched into one folder it's a strain for my laptop and other devices to read the folder. By putting each individual file into its own folder I think this will make my library easier to read by devices.

That's a lot of p**n!

If I have around 2,000 files in a single folder and I want to put each of those files in individual folders without having to manually create a new folder and title for each file can it be done?

I want the new folders to remain in the original folder but I want all of the file folders to have the same name as the file itself.

Hope this makes sense..... Any suggestions?
